Garry was appointed CEO in January 2018 following 20 years working at a senior level in the charity sector, including with other anti-slavery charities.
Garry is married with two adult children, is a member of The Salvation Army, a keen parkrunner, principal tuba with the East of England Coop Band, and a loyal (and long-suffering!) supporter of Southend United Football Club.
Ben Ryan joined Medaille in July 2023 from the Church of England, where he served as National Public Policy and Ethics Adviser. Previously he was Head of Research at the religion and society think tank Theos. He is the author of several books and reports including on the ethics of migration policy and the Catholic charity sector. Ben is a proud South Londoner, a practicing Catholic and an enthusiastic, if undersized, rugby player.
Di was recruited to lead the Operations Team in November 2015 after consulting for Medaille Trust. Prior to this she spent 25 years working with different vulnerable groups including homelessness, mental health, drug and alcohol services. Di is recently married, has three adult children and enjoys walking her dogs and caravanning.
Vasco joined Medaille in 2021. Before that he worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. He is currently working towards before becoming a fully Chartered Accountant. Vasco likes to to utilize technology for easier and more efficient processing of financial information.
In his free time he likes board games with his family, mountain biking trails and going away for a weekend either camping or visiting new cities.
